The myth goes something like this: David Park, after years of working in an purely abstract "objective" style of painting takes his entire body of work to the dump and, from that point on, becomes a devoted figure painter.
I have always made landscape paintings along side my more narrative, experimental work. I paint landscapes/seascapes for a lot of different reasons but really its for the pure enjoyment of observing and mixing color. Rather than co mingle them with my other work, I decided to open a new shop on Etsy that is strictly landscape paintings. I look forward to now having a place to present and curate my own collection and will be posting a lot of work between now and the start of winter.
